To celebrate the Millennium Public Art Gallery’s fifteenth birthday we are compiling a major exhibition of works by one of our greatest supporters, leading New Zealand abstract painter, Marlborough-based, J S Parker.

It is five years since the Gallery presented JS Parker: Plain Song, the comprehensive retrospective exhibition and book publication by Dr Damian Skinner that celebrated J S Parker’s career. This exhibition will feature works from local collections; some earlier figurative works as well as signature paintings.
